What have been the main changes in WhatsApp Commerce Policy since January 15th, 2021?
Before, the Commerce policy was used to decide which verticals could be onboarded onto the WhatsApp Business API and WhatsApp Business (the SMB app). Starting January 15, 2021, the Commerce policy will only be used to govern which types of businesses cannot sell their products/services within message threads, Business Profile and the API’s message templates (also known as HSMs). This policy update should have no impact to existing clients.
